Team Fantastic does the job for Cash For Kids!

We were delighted to hand over a cheque for £1902.50 to our corporate charity, Radio Aire’s Cash For Kids, after our collective efforts in the Leeds Half Marathon.

We entered six runners into the 13 mile run and a team of six undertook the corporate challenge relay. Everyone finished in under 2 and a half hours with our winning runner completing in an amazing 1 hour 38 minutes. Captain Fantastic himself achieved a very respectable 2 hours 5 minutes and attracted quite a bit of attention around the course!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and we’re looking forward to taking part in more events as Team Fantastic. Captain Fantastic, returned to his everyday self as Andy Hobson, Fantastic’s Managing Director presented Cash For Kid’s Ros Raine with the cheque.

Ros said: Having an enthusiastic team like Fantastic Media supporting the charity is great. They enjoy taking part and getting stuck in and their contribution sets us well on the way to our £10,000 target from the half marathon.”
