Pitchero, the UK’s biggest online network of community rugby clubs has broken new records ahead of the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Over 50% of UK community rugby clubs have joined the Pitchero network – uniting over 120,000 active players, parents coaches and club officials. Traffic across the entire network of club websites which includes football, cricket and hockey clubs is expected to reach 1.5m unique users in September.
The success of the website has not gone unnoticed. ITV, Nike, ESPN and Optimum Nutrition have agreed sponsorship deals throughout the RWC.
Pitchero CEO Mark Fletcher commented: “Fantastic Media has helped Pitchero double the rate of club and user sign ups. Direct mail and email marketing has been a great success and we will continue to invest heavily in marketing over the next few months.”
Clubs across England, Wales and Scotland use Pitchero to power their club website, manage membership online and communicate with members via email and text message.
