Fantastic Get Social with New Head of Audience Development
Integrated marketing agency, Fantastic Media, has appointed Richard Rowlands as Head of Audience Development.
Richard joins the team from Factory Media where he was also Head of Audience Development. He has worked on a number of action sports titles and specialises in content creation and delivery for both editorial and commercial clients.
A former online editor of Ride UK BMX Magazine - where he spearheaded the growth of its social audience into the millions - Richard has over 20 years’ experience in the action sports industry in media production. His career began writing articles in print magazines and quickly moved on to filming and editing cycling videos, product design and marketing.
“I want to take everything that I’ve learnt working in action sports and audience growth and apply this to new industries,” said Richard, “Fantastic Media is an exciting company to work with, and I’m looking forward to helping the business grow and to boost the digital marketing offering for clients.
“I have a true passion for content creation, and Fantastic Media has a client base in a number of different industries which will allow me to apply this passion to new, exciting areas.”
Richard’s appointment reflects the growing demand from Fantastic Media’s clients for social media and is the latest in a series of hires at the agency focussed on bolstering its social media and digital marketing offering.
