Following the successful launch and delivery of the ‘Forged in Steel’ brand across the club and its communications, the deal is the latest development in the marketing partnership with the EFL Championship Football Club.
We’re supporting the Academy through shirt sponsorship to encourage businesses to engage with youth sports teams to develop the sports stars of the future.
The Sheffield United SteelPhalt Academy, is widely regarded as one of the best football academies in the country, having produced football stars such as Phil Jagielka, Kyle Naughton, and Harry Maguire. The Blades are the only English club outside the Premier League to feature in the top 10 of a recent study of clubs whose Academy graduates have played the most minutes of top-level English football.
Andy Hobson, Managing Director, said “We have worked with the academy on a number of projects, most significantly the “Forged in Steel” proposition. Seeing how the Academy develops young talent into football stars is inspiring and sponsoring the U12 team was our way of giving back to the Sheffield United football community.”
Travis Binnion, the SteelPhalt Academy Manager believed being acknowledged within the top 10 clubs has helped them be recognised for their football facilities and Fantastic played a part in this.
“Having Fantastic as our marketing partners has helped us make our facilities the standard the future football stars deserve with their U12’s team sponsorship as well as the sponsorship board that can be found at our training ground.” he said.
