The full service agency, now in its 15th year has recently won a number of high profile consultancy contracts within FMCG and professional services brands signalling a near full return to the Leeds headquartered business.

Tom comes with experience from Leeds-based agencies Stickyeyes, twentysix and igniyte where he’s worked up to the position of Senior Account Manager in client services, activating multichannel strategies on global accounts.

Having worked in SEO, PPC, UX, email marketing, content and display marketing, Tom has been responsible for projects with the likes of Groupon, Leigh Day, Kroger Financial Services and Hunter Boots where he’s helped to supercharge clients’ digital growth across multiple territories.

He has a background in sports journalism having studied at the University of Huddersfield, which involved a season in the media team at Huddersfield Town in the 2013-14 season. He also learned skills in TV, radio and print journalism during this time – skills he’ll be bringing to further strengthen the Fantastic team. An avid Blackpool fan, Tom currently runs his own podcast and blog site upthemightypool.co.uk in his own time.

On joining the team at Fantastic, Tom said: “I’m delighted to be here. This is the perfect step for me at this stage of my career – I have learned from some of the best talent in two of the biggest and best agencies in Leeds, while also having the first-hand experience in a smaller agency where I did a lot of the implementation too, so I feel like the perfect fit for this agency where I can use all of my experience.

“I’ve been aware of Fantastic Media for a few years and kept an eye on the creative work they’ve done with the likes of Leeds United, Maximuscle and Overfinch, as well as Blackpool more recently who are my team, so I’ve had a lot of first-hand experience using the new website! Joining this agency just feels right for the next stage in my career progression and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in!”
