The new range of tandem bikes, which are often not stocked by independent bike dealers due to the space the bikes take up in store, are aimed at experienced cyclists looking to get into Tandem cycling.
The website provides an easily accessible online brochure and destination for bike dealers to share with customers looking to purchase a tandem. It allows them to browse the range and select the model they want to buy, enabling the bike dealers to order it in for them.
It also allows customers to buy directly from Avocet online.Â Customers can choose to have the tandem delivered to their home with free next day shipping or to click and collect from Avocet’s network of independent bike dealers.
The website was built as WordPress website, with e-commerce functionality designed to offer single page checkout.Â Â This kept the design and look and feel in line with the Avocet Sports website and its portfolio of brand websites.
To drive traffic to website while the brand is being established we have rolled out PPC advertising, and a social media campaign, as well as utilising blogger outreach and content marketing to drive traffic to the website in the long term and increase awareness of the brand.
Already, only a few days after going live, the website traffic and orders are growing quickly as users find their perfect tandem.
