One the UK’s oldest textile manufacturers and suppliers, JR Group UK, has appointed our team as its outsourced marketing strategists.
Owned by the Taylor family, JR Group UK has been operating for over 160 years with sites in Yorkshire and distribution channels all over the world.
JR Group UK is primarily involved in the manufacture and supply of textile fibres, fillings and recycled wastes, as well as carpet underlay, insulation and special effects non-wovens.
The business incorporates James Robinson Fibres, specialists in the importing and distribution of manmade fibres; Texfelt, high quality felt underlay; JR Property Restoration, responsible for some of the region’s top restoration projects including Swinsty Hall; and Bespoke Grass, suppliers to the trade of high quality artificial grass.
Texfelt is the name behind a range of award winning environmentally friendly carpet underlays for both domestic and commercial use. The unique properties of their underlay means it has been used on a range of projects from insulation in cars to special effects in some of the world’s biggest blockbuster films such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and James Bon: Spectre.
Working closely with the JR Group, we have created a complete brand hierarchy to unite the group of businesses as part of an integrated marketing strategy aimed at boosting each individual company’s profiles.
James Taylor, managing Director of JR Group UK, said: “This is has been a real eye-opener for us. We went through the Insight process with Fantastic and it really helped clarify where we needed to focus and what activity was required.
“The level of service and professionalism we have received from the team at Fantastic has been first class. They have always been open and honest with us and that’s how we operate our business. We are looking forward to a long relationship with them.
“JR Group is one of the biggest names in textiles and fibres in the country and we are delighted to have them on board,” said Andy Hobson, Managing Director. “They are at an exciting point in their business and were looking forward to help them develop their portfolio of businesses.”
