This month we met with Yorkshire TV Legend Harry Gration to discuss our campaign ‘Keep Your Head Keep Your Hair’ which aims to raise awareness of scalp cooling for male chemotherapy patients.
The aim of this national campaign is to raise the profile of scalp cooling (or cold cap treatment as it is more commonly known) and to make men in the UK aware that it is available in NHS and private hospitals throughout the country if requested by patients, nurses or doctors.
He was impressed with the campaign and hopes to help spread the word in the coming months.
We first launched women’s campaign ‘Cool Head Warm Heart’ in 2011; as a result of its success and enviable list of celebrity supporters, Fantastic launched the men’s campaign with the slogan ‘Show Cancer Who’s Boss’ to resonate with a male audience.
BBC Look North’s Harry Gration gave his full backing to the campaign having already brushed shoulders with Fantastic Media and award-winning Paxman at the Examiner Business Awards in 2011.
