A New Lease Of Life.

Woodcock & Wilson Group are an industrial fan manufacturer serving the globe from West Yorkshire. Made up of Woodcock & Wilson, CFM and Yorkshire Engineering, the group specialises in the manufacturing, servicing and maintenance of specialist industrial fans for hazardous areas.

Our journey started with Woodcock & Wilson following a management buyout, that triggered a new approach to marketing in order to grow the business.

The Brief.

Woodcock & Wilson Group have been an established business since the early 70’s. For decades the business grew through word of mouth and referrals, without ever capitalising on proactive marketing opportunities. The group approached us to organise the brand, create a universal identify for all of their brands and develop a cohesive marketing strategy to help them be perceived as leaders of industrial fan manufacturing.

The Research.

Woodocock & Wilson had an abundance of attributes that we could use to elevate them. The only manufacturer to have both IECEx and Atex certified products, a combined management experience of over 100 years and boasted a client list with a plethora of clients on.  These would help us form the new brand and enable the business to be considered by prospective clients. We just needed to project them in the right space, with the right message, at the right time.

The Fine Detail.

To create our brand structure, we used a grid to mirror the fine detail that goes in to the engineering of Woodcock & Wilson's fans. The product relies on precision, we utilised this in our approach to the new identity. To create brand consistency, all the logos adhere to the brand ‘grid’.

Making A Statement.

The exercise went far beyond the visual look and feel. We dug deep in to what made Woodcock & Wilson a serious business and how they should communicate their message. From brand values and internal messaging to the service process and mission statement, we covered all angles to maintain consistency universally.

We were absolutely blown away by the Insight. The level of detail that Fantastic went to in order to understand our brand, business and industry was outstanding. We now have a brand that we are proud of and that truly represents our business.
